A few months ago, while dining with my parents at a Chinese restaurant, our waiter, who was from Indonesia, asked if we were Christians. This took me by surprise, as we had not said anything to him about God or Jesus. When asked why he wanted to know, his reply was that we looked, talked, and acted differently than most of his customers. Oh, my! We were witnessing and did not even know it.
I was able to take the Personal Worker’s Testament from my purse and show him the list of helps in the front and the plan of salvation in the back. He wanted to know the answers to several questions, so I was able to show several passages that answered those questions. He said that he would
read the Testament and asked me to come back and talk to him again.
This experience reminded me how every aspect of a believer’s life cab be a testimony for Jesus. We either leave a positive or negative impression. It is my prayer for all Gideons and Auxiliary members that wherever we leave or impression, it will be in the image of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour
